artec Personalberatung GmbH was founded in 1998, as a subsidiary of TRANSEARCH International. While TRANSEARCH focuses exclusively on top-level executive search, artec focuses on filling middle management and specialist positions.

We coordinate the approach to each search project individually with our clients, in consideration of the business environment, the specifics of the industry and relevant cultural aspects.
On the basis of the resulting search profile, we conduct systematic and robust market research and then contact suitable candidates specifically. In combination with media-based job advertisements, we can expand the search area where appropriate. In individual cases we can simply run print or online advertisements tailored to the specific situation.
This enables us to identify professionals who not only meet your requirement profile in terms of qualifications, but also match the ethical standards of your company, thereby sustainably adding value.
Our consultants are personally available to both clients and candidates throughout the search process, ensuring confidentiality and honest feedback for both sides. They conduct structured interviews, prepare informative confidential reports on the most interesting candidates and support them from interviews with the client to signing the contract and beyond.

Nicolas Martin

Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Communication, Social Psychology and Economics from the Ruhr-Universität in Bochum. During his studies, he already worked in consulting and executive search.  After several years at a renowned German executive search and selection company, Nicolas joined the artec parent group TRANSEARCH International from 2010 to 2013. Then he changed to a market leading German HR consulting and Executive Search company.  His last position held there was a Director in the service line Executive Search at the Stuttgart office. Since 2019, Nicolas is the Managing Partner of artec Personalberatung GmbH in Stuttgart.


Nicolas places management positions in the sectors General Industry, Automotive, Energy / Utilities and Consumer. His clients are medium sized family owned businesses, large public listed groups as well as public authorities. Besides that, Nicolas is also experienced in advising the supervisory and non-executive boards of his clients.

Andreas Späth

Andreas Späth studied law at Tübingen University, where he also completed his legal clerkship. He then practised as a lawyer for several years, primarily in labour law, before moving to executive search in 2005.

As a consultant, Andreas Späth initially focused on advertisement-based search and placement of managers and specialists, primarily in industry

Andreas Späth has been a consultant at artec Personalberatung GmbH since 2008, focusing on approaching managers and specialists directly.

His primary fields are mechanical and plant engineering, automotive and electrotechnology, filling positions in all functional areas – from qualified specialists and middle management to management board level.
